Kerry Greer

Kerry Greer focuses on finding ways to connect UBC students to the community. She integrates service-learning into several courses, and continuously works to build relationships with community organizations, and to connect students with opportunities to work with organizations. She co-taught the UEFS in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2020.

Patrick Moore PhD

Patrick Moore co-taught UEFS in 2017, 2018, and 2020 with Kerry Greer and in 2019 with Thomas Kemple. Patrick is a professor in the Department of Anthropology specializing in Indigenous languages.

Amir Shiva

Amir Shiva is a lecturer in the Department of Anthropology specializing in media anthropology and digital ethnography. He has taught courses in anthropological methods and theory. Amir is interested in digital media practices and focuses on how people change in the process of media-making and media-receiving.
